Anita L. McGinnis Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Anita L. McGinnis of Hilliard, Ohio, born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on December 15, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Kusturin and Ann Schade; her husband John; her brother David Kusturin; and her son-in-law Daniel Miles.
She is survived by: her children, Terry McGinnis-Miles, Tom McGinnis (Erin), Russell McGinnis (Talea), Augie McGinnis, Ann McGinnis and Todd McGinnis (Christy); her grandchildren, Ashley Williamson (Jon), Stacey Morris (Daniel), Tasha Braniff (Josh), Devon McGinnis (Hailey), Chris Massie (Sarah), Andrew Massie, Shelby Fleshman, Sydney Fleshman, Devin Casteel (Mike), Amanda McGinnis and Karissa Miller (Nathan); her sister-in-law Sandra Kusturin; and her sister Vicki Fisher (Roy). She is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren, many cousins, and many other loving family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 22nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Tidd Family Funeral Home (5265 Norwich St, Hilliard, OH 43026). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
