It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mildred J. Wainscott of Hillsboro, Ohio, who passed away on June 22, 2025, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Sullivan and Clara Faul Sullivan; her husband Richard Eugene Wainscott; and her siblings, Evelyn Duffy, Jean Rockey and Richard Sullivan.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas Wainscott (Krystal) of Georgetown, Charlene Forgione of Willoughby and Joyce Wainscott-King (Philip) of Hillsboro; her grandchildren, Kyle Wainscott (Janna) of Georgetown, Brandon King of Hillsboro and Wyatt King (Chloe) of Pomeroy; her great grandchildren, Spencer Wainscott of Georgetown, Pierce Wainscott of Georgetown, McKenna Ridley Alexandria King of Pomeroy and Louis Sterling Bennet King of Pomeroy; and her siblings, Gladys Creighton of Owensville and Lowell Sullivan (Sharon) of Hillsboro.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Edgington Funeral Home (17 E Main St, Hillsboro, OH 45133). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Confidence Cemetery (1196 Mt Orab Pike, Georgetown, OH 45121).
