Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Sala Rudolph Bernard Thomsen Sr. of Hillsboro, Ohio, who passed away at the age of 75, on April 7, 2024. He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernard Aloysious Thomsen and Ruta Thomsen (Savaiinaea); his daughter Josephine M. Barrett; and his siblings, Frank Thomsen, Hans Thomsen, Edward Thomsen, Cecilia Helg, Ruth Soon, Bernard Thomsen and Peter Thomsen.

He is survived by : his wife Fiafia Thomsen; his children, John V. Tufele (Nohelani) of Hawaii, Shawn Anthony Thomsen of Hillsboro and Rudolph Thomsen, Jr. of Hillsboro; his grandchildren, Leilani, Lehua, Fiafia, FuaauToa, Troy, Victoria and Faanofo; his great grandchildren, Haydin and Damien; and his siblings, Masina Thomsen (Athena), Richard Thomsen (Thelma), Judith Thomsen, Victoria Jessop, Tessa Fraser and Agnes Soon. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary Catholic Church (212 S High St, Hillsboro, OH 45133). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, April 13th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
