He was predeceased by: his father Richard Waickman. He is survived by: his mother Margaret Waickman (Schmidt); his son Matthew; his wife Pam; his children, Erika Tayerle (Brian) and Pete Waickman (Jessica); his grandchildren, Reed, Dillon Waickman, Jack and Molly Tayerle; and his brothers, Jeff (Sharon), Paul (Tracy), Jim (Karen) and Rick (Brooke). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
