It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Wood Sr. of Hopedale, Ohio, who passed away on October 9, 2021, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by : his wife Martha Diane Barnhart Wood; his children, Richard L. Wood, Jr. (Pamela), Sondra Miser of Hopedale and Shonna Stringer (Ed) of Hopedale; his grandchildren, Mindy, Lewis, Gabrielle (Kendall), Todd and Holly; his great grandchildren, Diesel and Phoenix Tallevast; and his siblings, Gene Wood, Sr. (Fern) of Hopedale, Bill Ward, Jr. (Kathy) of Macedonia, Sharon Wade (Bruce) of Unionvale, Sue Blawut (John) of Hopedale, Deb Decker (Bill) of Hopedale and Rhonda Kinzie (Tony) of Cadiz. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
The family asks that you wear a facial covering and observe social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations in his honor to the Tony Teramana Cancer Center, 3204 Johnson Road, Steubenville, Ohio 43952.
