He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Carpenter and Betty Carpenter (Borroughs); his brother Johnnie Carpenter; and his grandson Erick Carpenter. He is survived by: his wife Sherri Carpenter (Channels); and his children, Jason Allen of Huber Heights, LaChana Allen of Huber Heights, Erica Smith (Katrina), LeRoy Carpenter III, Alexandra Carpenter of Akron and Adam Carpenter of Dayton. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
