With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Mary Jean Garrett of Huber Heights, Ohio, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 26, 2025 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Jean Garrett to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Luther B. Fultz and Myrtle P. Fultz (Grubbs); her husband Herbert Dwight Garrett; her son Gerald Garrett; her siblings, Daniel Fultz, Alvin Fultz, Dorothy Eileen Gault and Benny Fultz; and her sons-in-law, Gary Hoctel, John Thomas and Ron Stacey.
She is survived by: her children, Douglas D. Garrett, Cynthia "Cindy" Hoctel, Cathie M. Thomas and Dori Stacey; her grandchildren, Michele, Scott of Heather, D. J., Jennifer and Tammy; and also Rachel Garrett. She is also survived by 8 great grandchildren & 6 great – great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, & a host of friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Richards, Raff & Dunbar Memorial (838 E High St, Springfield, OH 45505).
