He is survived by: his close friend Betsy Birtle; his children, Dana Jahn of Kettering, OH and Charles F. Birtle, Jr. (Amanda) of Tipp City, OH; and his grandchildren, Jennifer Vanzant (Travis), Jordan Jahn (Mallory), Joshua Jahn (Aubree), Brian Birtle, Jenny Alexander (Derek) and Stephanie Lancaster (Dustin). He is also survived by 12 great grandchildren.
