He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lehrer and Katherine Lehrer; his brothers, George Lehrer and Bill; and his siblings-in-law, Mary Hoffman and Gene Sharp.
He is survived by: his wife Jane Milliman; his daughters, Adelle Hoffman (Gene) of Castalia and Sally Smith (Marty) of Castalia; his grandchildren, Katie Berg (Eric), Karen Berg (Ryan), Bradley Hoffman (Becky), Tiffany Maillard (Brent) and Alex Smith; his great grandchildren, Gage, Ava, Tate, Zeke, Jana, Julia, Jace, Gavin and Macie; and his siblings, Kathleen Sharp of Clyde and Kenneth Lehrer (Donna) of Castalia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association or to the Huron Township Rescue Squad Fund.
