It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Richard Olmstead of Huron, Ohio, born in New London, Ohio, who passed away on August 27, 2020, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Toygh William and Lenore Lula Olmstead (Longcoy); his stepparents, Esther Olmstead and Allen Mindell; his sisters, Caryl Decker and Sandra Myers; his niece Joan Decker; and his nephew Richard "Ricky" Decker.
He is survived by: his wife Miriam (Steinmetz); his daughters, Sara Lasch and Linda Connell (Marc); his grandchildren, Amanda Connell (Adam Evans), Heather Lasch, Thomas Connell (Katie), Scott Lasch (Brianne) and Sheri Connell; and his great grandchildren, Michael, Xavier, Amelia, Mack, Willa, Theo and Milo.
The family requests Covid-19 regulations be observed and masks be worn.
