He was predeceased by: his son Donald H. DeLawder, Jr; and his grandparents, Erie, Ada Rowe, Noah and Eva DeLawder.

He is survived by: his wife Edna DeLawder (Baker); his daughters, Lena "Renee" DeLawder, Rebecca DeLawder (Andrew) and Linn; his granddaughters, Josey of Waverly and Kaelyn Linn of Waverly; his daughter Selena Infante; his grandsons, Brandon Reynosa (Steven) of Lone Tree and Jonathan Pruneda of Lone Tree; his siblings, Patricia Heaberlin, Linda Myers (Max), Amber DePriest and Timothy DeLawder (Stella) of Ironton; and his aunt Glenna Myers.
