He was predeceased by: his parents, Emil Ekmark and Bertha Ekmark (Geckler); and his brothers, David and Bill Ekmark. He is survived by: his wife Annabelle Ekmark (O'Connell); his sons, Brian Ekmark, Edward Ekmark (Pam), Michael Ekmark (Sabrina) and Matthew Ekmark; his siblings, Jane Kerns and Ray Ekmark; and his grandchildren, Everett, Elissa and AnnaLynne.
