With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Ann Smith of Jackson, Ohio, born in Ashland, Kentucky, who passed away on July 31, 2021 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warnie Clay and Goldie G. Crace (Conley); her former husband Herman W. Manns; her husband Edwin T. Smith; her granddaughter Elizabeth Campbell (Downing); and her siblings, Pansy Perkins (Ralph), Woody Crace, Elwood Crace, Jessie Abraham (Joseph), Lillie Hively (Jim), Clay Crace (Marvine), Robert Wayne Crace, Jimmy Crace (May), Eskil Crace, Roger Crace, Lee Schaaf, Robert Scurlock and Larry Ervin.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Ann Downing, Karen Malone (Bernard) and Jerry Manns (Barbara Jean); her grandchildren, Matthew Downing, Allen Malone, Brian Malone, Laura James (Manns) and Sara Manns; her sisters, Sue Schaaf, Sarah Wright (James), Carolyn Scurlock and Linda Ervin; and her sisters-in-law, Carol Crace and Della Crace. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; five great-great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
