He was predeceased by: his parents, John Slagle and Annie Fulkerson Slagle; and his siblings, Timothy Slagle, Robert Slagle, Patricia Mallory, Cheryl Reveal (Don), Sherry Aills and Shirley Slagle.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Slagle (Snell); his children, Loretta Eldridge and Mitchell Riley Slagle (Sheila); his siblings, Sharon Mustard (Mike Whitten) and Anthony Slagle; his grandchildren, Andrew Eldridge (Stephanie), Danielle Eldridge, EJ Aills, Byron Aills, Marshall Aills, Levi Aills, LJ Browning, Chrisha White (Cody), Brittany Martinez (Irvin), Faith Browning and Tiffany Slagle; and his pet Buddy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many friends.
In lieu of flowers and other memorial items, contributions can be made to the Mayhew-Brown Funeral Home to help the family with funeral expenses.
