He is survived by: his wife Crystal Kay Prater (Hilt); his sister Dorothy Costilow (Dot) of Sun Breeze; and his siblings-in-law, Larry Farrar (Suzanne) of Sunbury, Ohio, William "Bill" Mercer (Sandra) of Richmondale, Ohio, Randy Mercer (Tina) of Columbus and Linda Richards (Sean) of Jackson, Ohio.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
