He was predeceased by: his parents, C. Maynard Cunningham and Dorothy Shanks Cunningham. He is survived by: his daughter Amy Cunningham-Ferrell of Chillicothe; his grandchildren, Alexis C. and Alexander C. Ferrell; his siblings, Debbie Dutton (Randy) of Tallmadge, OH and Gary Cunningham (Judy) of Frankfort; his nieces, Stephanie Scott of Akron, OH and Rebecca Clagg of Jackson; and his nephew Matthew Cunningham of Frankfort.
