With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carolyn Jean Smith of Jamestown, Ohio, born in Combs, Kentucky, who passed away on February 23, 2022 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Doris Smith (Yancey) and Chester Smith; her daughter Pamela Engle; and her sisters, Sandra Osborne and Kay Turner.

She is survived by : her husband Roger D. Smith; her children, Gregory Lee Smith of Xenia and Kimberly Ann Greene (Brian) of Xenia; her grandchildren, Jared, Justin Smith, Seth and Taylor Greene; her great grandchildren, Elijah and Iylah; her sister Trina Dennehy; her nieces and nephews, Shannon Banks and Dusty Turner; and her pets, Baby and Fergie. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospitals at stjude.org in Jeannie's memory.
