She was predeceased by : her parents, Howard Eakins and Helen Kirk Eakins; her stepfather Raymond Ellinger; her husband Harold Lee Mays; and her brothers, Delbert Wayne Eakins and Robert I. Eakins, Sr..

She is survived by : her children, Roxanne Chaney (Keith) and Kirk Mays; her grandchildren, Austin, Tori, Jarrod and Jakob; and her siblings-in-law, Doris Eakins, Elizabeth Eakins (Babe) and Jon Mays. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews, and many close friends.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to Jamestown Church of Christ 152 W Washington St. 45335.
