Juanita left this world on November 2, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Francis and Mary Jane Hore Shane; her former husband James Bond; her husband Dallas A. Whited; her siblings, Joseph William Shane, Paul Shane and Edna Marie Shane; and her son-in-law Tony Bostic.
She is survived by: her children, Deborah Bostic of Kimbolton, James F. Bond (Robin) of Tracy and Lori Bond of Chilhowie, Virginia; her grandchildren, Shawn Bostic (Deanna) of Cedar Bluff, Natasha Joyce (Hufford) of Kimbolton, Takeesha Jenkins (Daniel) of St. Paul, Billie Jean Kiser (Joseph Chapman) of Chilhowie, LaRanda Miller (Steve) of Raven and Ashley Brown (Dustin) of Drill, Virginia; her siblings, Regina Edgar of Pine Top, Robert Shane (Donna) of Newcomerstown, Dorothy Reeves of Haskell and Rose Turnbaugh of Akron, Ohio; and her sister-in-law Mary Shane of Akron, Ohio. She is also survived by several step-children, step-grandchildren; great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Honaker Funeral Home (4686 Redbud Hwy, Honaker, VA 24260). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 8th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Sunday, November 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
