He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Leslie and Mildred Day Shry Copeland; and his sisters, Ruth Wenner and Margaret Bethel. He is survived by: his wife Bonnie L. Hartman Copeland; his children, Joseph Copeland (Jo Ann) of Flushing, Carrie Barker (Ralph) of Unionport, Amy Ludewig (Tom) of Colliers and Leslie Copeland of St. Clairsville; his stepson John McBeth (Wendy) of Belmont; his brother-in-law Robert Hartman (Sandy) of West Lafayette, Indiana.; his grandchildren, Heather Copeland, Brian Barker (Jessica), Brad Barker (Dana), Nicolette Hill (Chris) and Kyle Copeland; and his great grandchildren, Josie, Lane, Levi and Madison.
