She was loved and cherished by many people including : her daughter Shirley Carroll (Roger) of LaGrange; her grandsons, Jason Carroll (Rose Merendino) of Shaker Heights, Sean Carroll (Jennifer) of Lakewood and Nicholas Carroll (Tina) of LaGrange; her siblings, Marlene Whisman of Reidsville, N. Carolina (Karen Hahn), Gerald James of Glenville, Hill James (EmmaJean) of Normantown, Hugh James (Dolores) of Cedarville and Roland James (Kaye) of Glenville; her husband Robert "Bob" Woodyard; her mother Macel P. James; and her siblings-in-law, Cleveland Thomas Whisman Jr. and Wilma James.

The family suggests that, in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to First Baptist Christian School in Elyria.
