She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew K. Nagay and Katherine S. Nagay; and her siblings, Rosemary Beekman and Theodore Nagay. She is survived by: her husband Joseph C. Planisek; her pet Dorothy; and her sibling's children, Karen Suvada of Phoenix and Kurt Teske of Yonkers.

Services will be private, and per Dorothy's request, in lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Cleveland Animal Protective League.
