She was predeceased by: her parents, William Simmonds and Frances Simmonds (Nahrstedt); her husband Arthur Kooyman; her sons, Gerald Hargrove and Kevin Hargrove; and her brother William Simmonds (Jean).
She is survived by: her children, Lynda Reilly of Stuart, FL, Cindy Hargrove of Madison, OH, Melanie Prather (Mike) of Brazil, IN, John Hargrove (Sue) of Pickerington, OH and Scott Hargrove (Cathy) of Lancaster, OH. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions to the Lake or Fairfield County Humane Society, or to FAIRHOPE Hospice and Palliative Care in Lancaster.
