It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joan Mowery Carpenter of Lancaster, Ohio, who passed away on February 19, 2021, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest M. Mowery and Dorothy Mowery (Persinger); her son David Kenneth Carpenter; and her siblings, Ernest Mowery Jr., Forrest Wayne Mowery, Marilyn L. Bell, June L. Webb and Rita B. Wienecke.
She is survived by : her son Dennis J. Carpenter (Eileen) of Florida; her granddaughters, April D., Amy M. and Dorothy R. Carpenter; and her great grandchildren, Dakota, Zander, Lilitu, Lykinia, Gavin and Jocelyn. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 4th 2021 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Sheridan Funeral Home (222 S Columbus St, Lancaster, OH 43130). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 4th 2021 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
