We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2022, at the age of 80, John R Nungesser of Lancaster, Ohio, born in Columbus, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Nungesser and Martha Rayburn Nungesser (Rayburn); his siblings, Bill and Nancy; and his brothers-in-law, Dave Cruit and Ron Kilbarger.

He is survived by: his wife Janet Nungesser (Ulko); his children, John A. Nungesser (Norah), Jennifer Smith (Jim "Smitty"), James "Jim" Nungesser, Jeff Nungesser (Lori) and Jeneanne Smyers (Johnny); and his siblings, Susan Kilbarger, Ed Nungesser (Paula), Lee Nungesser (Peggy), Tom Nungesser (Penny), Terry Nungesser (Michele), Mary Moreland, Chris Nungesser, Tony Nungesser, Tim Nungesser and Joseph Nungesser (Carolyn Shaw). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren.
