He was predeceased by: his fathers, William Cottrill and Bob; his wife Montana Cottrill; and his siblings, Betty Mathias, Barbara Bussard, Hazel Copen and Leroy Cottrill.
He is survived by: his children, Robert W Cottrill Jr., Bambi Mandeville (Steve), Bubba Cottrill (Heather) and Anthony Cottrill; his sister Gladys Hutchinson; the mother of his children Joni Sue Lang; his grandchildren, Shereas Cole, Alicia, Seth, Chloe Mandeville, Marie, Elijah, Lincoln, Ezekiel, Payton, Dutton and Reagan Cottrill; and his great grandchildren, Steven Connor (Spud), Elizabeth, Penelope and Mason. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
