He was predeceased by: his daughter Julie Morrison; his parents, Dorsey Wells and Lily Wells; and his siblings, Rev. Charles Wells, Courtney Wells, Freddie Wells, Jerry Wells and Norma Jean Brown.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Emily Durbin (Amadeus) and Joey Morrison; his sister Sue Dick; his son-in-law Jay Morrison; and his friend Judy Mitchell. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family.
