He was predeceased by: his parents, James B. Ashby, Sr. and Crystel; and his brother David Ashby. He is survived by: his wife Melodee; his daughters, Julie Mann (Alan) of Amarillo, TX and Rebecca Ashby of Lebanon, OH; his siblings, Jon Ashby (Carol) and Mary Ann Willis (Gary); and his granddaughter Lily Sloan. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Westside Church of Christ (1000 Franklin Rd, Lebanon, OH 45036).
