She was predeceased by : her parents, Charlie Jones and Lillie May Jones (Powers); her son-in-law Mike Gardner; and her siblings, Charles Jones, Jr., Peggy Jones, Robert Jones, James Jones, Alvin Jones, Hazel Ledford and Geneva Reynolds.

She is survived by : her half-sisters, Bertha M. Warner and Gola Mavis Howard; her children, Sharon Gardner, Terri McKown (Bill), Shannon "Sadie" Collins (Nathan), Dawn, Kimloe McTeer, Dennis Ryker, Stoney "Lee" Harry (Jason) and Shanda Jenkins (Lewis); her cousin Marie Essert; her close friend Beverly League; and her siblings, Burl Jones, Terisa McCammon and Chester Jones. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, and friends.
