He was predeceased by : his parents, Floyd Filbrun and Mary Filbrun (Flora); his brother Eldon Filbrun; and his siblings-in-law, Janice Filbrun and Kenny Landes.

He is survived by : his children, Jodi Meade (Craig) of Flora, IN., John Filbrun (Autumn) of Flora, IN. and Jared Filbrun of Flora, IN.; his grandchildren, Shelbi Fisher (Tallis Bowers), Bayleigh Ford (Austin), Sidney Fisher, Grace Homco (Matt), Trey Filbrun and Mamie Filbrun; his great grandchild Fallon Ford; and his siblings, Thelma Landes and Marlin Filbrun.
