She was predeceased by : her parents, Ory L. Bowling and Lonnie Bowling (Cook); her husband Roosevelt Thornsberry; and her siblings, Chester Bowling, Harold Bowling, Archie Bowling, Peggy Oakley and Robert Bowling.

She is survived by : her sons, Timothy L. Thornsberry (Krista) and Robert E. Thornsberry (Kay Lee); and her sister Patricia Tackett. She is also survived by 4 Grandchildren, 2 Great Grandchildren, Nieces and Nephews.
