She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Charley Hefner and Martha Cretoria Fetter Hefner; her spouse Roy C. Bowersock; her children, Daniel R. Bowersock (Gloria) of Lima, Douglas C. Bowersock (Joanna) of Pickerington, Deborah J. Marsh of Sheridan, IN and Denise Beauchamp of Pickerington; her sisters, Lois Warren and Ida Cathryn "Kate" Blunden (Larry) of Lima; her grandsons, David Marsh, Charlie Beauchamp (Sarah), Erik Bowersock and Gunnar Bowersock; her stepgrandchildren, Carla Harris, Jeffrey Lee and Jeremy Piercefield; her close friends, Bill and Nancy Hogan; her granddaughter Deanna Marsh; and her sisters, Eulalie "Lee" DeLong and Phyllis Barnt. She was also cherished by three great-grandchildren, four step-great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson.

For several years, she canvassed for donations to the March of Dimes.
