He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy C. Goodwin and Ruth V. Goodwin (Shivley); and his sister Barbara Rai Conaway. He is survived by: his wife Sara "Sally" Goodwin (Ford); his brother-in-law Eugene Conaway; his nephews, Joey Kiggins, Matt Welch and Wally Welch; and his niece Teresa Bailey (James).
