He was predeceased by: his daughter Karla Jones; and his brother Willie C. Manns. He is survived by: his wife Linda; his children, Kevin Jones (Barbara) of Ft. Wayne, IN., Jennifer Jones (Curtis Helton) of Lima, Lynette Jones of Lima and Leah Karuri of Lima; and his sister Cecelia Reid of Reynoldsburg, OH.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.
