He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Heidt and Lydia Heidt; and his siblings, Grace Klopfenstein (Earl), Melvin Heidt (Dorothy) and Marian Heidt.
He is survived by: his wife Carol J. Rohrbaugh; his children, Karen Smith (Kirk) of Toledo, OH and Douglas Heidt (Kim Koenig) of New Knoxville, OH; his grandchildren, Brandon Smith (Colleen) of Toledo, OH, Tiana Heidt (Robert Fisher) of New Knoxville, OH, Mitchel Heidt of New Knoxville, OH and Brett Smith of Toledo, OH; and his siblings-in-law, Virginia Heidt of Lima, OH and Donald Rohrbaugh (Mary).
Memorial contributions may be directed to either First Church heating fund or Grand Lake Hospice.
