She was predeceased by: her granddaughter Shada Mahone; and her brother James Gant. She is survived by: her children, Darnell Mahone (Andrea) of Orlando, FL., Gina Gant of Lima, Catherine Munday "Stormy" of Lima and Dana Adkins of Lima; and her siblings, Clarence Gant, Jr. of Pittsburgh, PA and Velma Walker (Robert) of Dallas, TX.. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
