She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl Bassitt and Mildred Bassitt (James); her husband Clarence McKinley Kersker Jr.; her son Donald E. Kersker; her siblings, James Bassitt, Robert Bassitt (Faye) and Josephine "Joan" Clausen; and her siblings-in-law, Eddie Handfield, Betty Bassitt, Richard Kersker, Jack Kersker and Barbara Carmen.

She is survived by: her children, Janice L. Hauenstein (Edgar L.) of Montpelier and David L. Kersker (Debra K.) of Port Charlotte, FL; her daughter-in-law Mary Lou Kersker of Harrod; her grandchildren, Todd M. Kersker, Tammy M. Sedlacek (Gene), Taffy M. Colley (Scott), Troy M. Kersker (Lisa), Rhonda L. Bryan (Chuck) of Lima, Diane M. Brehm (Andrew), Debra M. Koehler, Renee A. Crowl (Bruce), Edgar D. Hauenstein (Ralna) and Bryan L. Kersker; her sister Arlene Handfield; and her sister-in-law Rita Kersker. She is also survived by 23 great grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren.
