It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Duane Gene Boyd of Lima, Ohio, born in Denver, Colorado, who passed away on December 16, 2021, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his brothers, Alvin Boyd, Clinton Boyd and Vernon Boyd. He is survived by: his wife Jean Boyd (Sherriff); and his children, Sharon Beckford (Jim) of Harrod, Keith Boyd (late Karla) of Lima, Norman Boyd (Bobbie) of Cincinnati, Michael Boyd (Rachel) of Lansing, MI and Lynette Goodwin (Ted) of Pikeville, TN..

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Johnny Appleseed Metropolitan Park District.
