She was predeceased by: her daughter Joy Swanger; her sister Mildred "Millie" Sorgen (Tom); and her brother-in-law Omer Piehl. She is survived by: her spouse Cleadius "Pete" Piehl; her daughter Sandi Piehl (Jim McElroy) of Lakeview; her grandchildren, Jennifer Swanger and Michael Swanger II; her great grandchildren, Maddison Swanger, Isabelle Swanger and Bentley Swanger; and her sister Joan Piehl of Lima.
