She was predeceased by: her parents, Modess Sr and Nellie Hodges Sr.; her son John Adam Jackson; her grandson David Jackson; and her sisters, Emma Robinson, Ethel Lee Davis, Jessie Hodges and Queen Esther Jones.
She is survived by: her children, Clemtine Jackson of Kokomo, IN, Gloria J. Arnold (Jaime), Deanna M. Jackson, Robin A. Conley (James), Valentina Jackson of Kokomo, Udell Jackson Kokomo, Walter R. Jackson, Ray L. Jackson, Terry L. Jackson and Darrell E. Jackson; and her sister Louise Young. She is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
