He was predeceased by: his parents, Elbert H Sheipline and Dorothea Sheipline (Hengstler); his wife Eleanor Fetter; his son-in-law Loren Keith Myers; his siblings, Mabel Logan (Harold), Luetta Heffner (Eddie) and Joseph Sheipline; and his brother-in-law Stanley Fetter (Martha).

He is survived by: his daughter Martha Ann Myers; his grandchildren, Fredrick Myers (Lois), Laurie Dunn (Chuck), Kit Wiechart (Jim) and Matthew Myers (Rebecca); his great grandchildren, Jason Myers (Dawn), Kevin Myers (Stevie), Nicholas Dunn (Lacey), Zachary Dunn, Tim Dunn, Breonna Myers, Josh Myers, John Wiechart and Jacob Wiechart; his great great grandchildren, Blake, Ella and Ryleigh; and his sister Susan Jenkins of Raleigh.
