He was predeceased by: his parents, Bob Hemmer and Mary Ruth Hemmer. He is survived by: his sons, Adam Hemmer (Andrea Burklund) of Lima, OH and Zachary Hemmer (Renee) of Lima, OH; his grandchildren, Sidney Hemmer and Cameron Hemmer of Lima, OH; his siblings, Susan Sperk (Chris) of Rockhill, SC, Kathy Martin (Dick) of Urbana, OH, Bob Hemmer (Sandy) of Bellefontaine, OH, Mark Hemmer (Kim) of Hunstville, OH and Becky McDonald (Butch) of Bellefontaine, OH; and his brother-in-law Kurt Hanaway (Linda) of Bluffton, SC. He is also survived by fourteen nieces and nephews and several great nieces and nephews.
In lieu of memorial contributions may be made to American Cancer Society.
