She was predeceased by: her parents, Oscar Darlington and Miriam Darlington (Wilson); and her sister Lynette Darlington DePaoli. She is survived by: her husband Frank J. Scalzi; her stepdaughter Francesca M. Whitlock of Chicago, IL; her grandson Cillian Whitlock; and her siblings, Dawn Tallman (Jim) of Warren, OH, Mahlon Darlington (Dayle) of Ames, IA, Phoebe Reed (Jim) of Lima, Gerbert Darlington (Linda) of Lima, Eunice Hutson (Tom) of Troy, OH, Emily Jane Hoover (Robert) of Bend, OR and Bernice Brady (James) of Saugerties, NY. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
