She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick C. Hilyard and Helen Hilyard (Dane); her husband James Roger Lewis Sr.; her children, Thomas Lewis and Bonnie Glick; her son-in-law Daniel Atwood; and her siblings-in-law, Lloyd Hilyard and Lovetta Lowe (Vernon).
She is survived by: her children, Carol Atwood, James Lewis Jr. (Rebeccah), Diana Smith (Ron) and Debra Bowman (Dana); her son-in-law Richard Glick; and her sister-in-law Martha Hilyard. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as many beloved grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.
