He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack L. and Madge E. Pisel, Sr. (Carey); his former wife Kathryn G. Turner; his wife Katy; and his grandson Trevor L. Wineinger of Portland, OR..
He is survived by: his close friend Lauretta Woodell of Lima; his children, Kaleen Wineinger (Gerald) of Manzanita, OR, Jeffrey Pisel (Kim) of Lima and Karla Strange (Mike) of Lima; and his grandchildren, Travis Wineinger (Rachel) of Portland, OR, Joe Pisel (Arlene) of Lima, Grant Pisel (Sarah Sinthalaphone) of Lima, Joshua Strange (Lindsay) of Ft. Worth, TX, Andrea Vogelgesang (Jeremy) of Lima and Zachary Strange of Lima. He is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
