James Clapper Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Clapper (Lima, Ohio), who passed away on February 13, 2019, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his spouse Clara Louise Clapper (Mathews); his son-in-law Dan Protsman; his sister Margaret Joanne Kerr; and his brothers-in-law, Max Mathews, Rex Mathews and Virgil Kerr.
He is survived by: his children, Steven R. Clapper (Linda) of Lima, OH, Craig A. Clapper (Jan) of South Bend, IN, Mark D. Clapper (Libby) of Cary, NC and Jamie Protsman of Lima, OH; his grandchildren, Scott, Mindy, Jeremiah, Shellie, Eric, Rachel, Kirstin and Jonathan; and his brother Robert Clapper (Fran) of Houston, TX.. He is also survived by twenty-three great-grandchildren.
