He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Latham and Mary Bergdorf (Dunifon); his former wife Karen S. Latham (McKeever); and his sister Judy Moats. He is survived by: his wife Debra Kay Latham (Frazee); his children, James E. Latham, Jr. of Elida, Melissa D. Latham-Fuqua of Lima and Lisa S. Latham-Huffer of Delphos; his stepdaughters, Heidi K. Aust-Cox of Lima and Julie K. Aust of Lima; and his siblings, Robert Latham of Lima, Richard Latham of Lima and Patsy Shafer of Lima. He is also survived by his thirteen grandchildren; his seven great-grandchildren.
