He was predeceased by: his parents, Elza Clayton and Mary Magdaleen Highland Binkley; his siblings, Clayton Binkley, Robert Binkley, Ruth Hale, Ruby Conners and Rita Marshall; and his half-brother Emmett Highland.

He is survived by: his wife Delia G. 'Dee' Moyers; his children, James A. Binkley (Valerie) of Lima, Terri Vonderau (Herb) of Lima and Kim Mason (Matt) of Lima; his grandchildren, Jason Vonderau, Christi Tigani (Kenny), Jeremy Vonderau (Trina), Todd Binkley (Alison), Ashely Green (Jesse), Jessica Binkley, Austin Howard (Chelsea), Madi Mason and Chase Mason; and his brother Thomas Binkley (Connie) of Wapakoneta. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
