He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Lock and Hazel Margaret Crofut Dotson; and his siblings, Norma Snowden of Joseph Dotson, JR., Paul 'Bus' Dotson and Jean Ann Brown.
He is survived by: his wife Freda Ruth Miner May; his children, Francie Young (James) of Fairborn, Harold Jim Dotson (Cathy) of Harrod, Tina Michael (Rick) of Ney and Robert Dotson (Kim) of Lima; his grandchildren, Josh Young, Jodi Dotson, Chris Dotson, Justin Dotson, Joseph Michael, Ashley Michael and Bobby Dotson; his great grandchildren, Olivia Golden, Layla Dotson, Layne Dotson and Isaiah Dotson; and his sister Dorothy Fought of Topeka, IN..
