She was predeceased by: her siblings, Patricia A. Wall, Johnnie M. Fuqua, Barbara Bankston, Sarah Bankston, Robert T. Bankston and Marvin D. Bankston Jr..

She is survived by: her children, Charles A. Gilbert of Lima, Durant F. Gilbert of Lima, DeBorah M. Gilbert-Woodley of Lima and Vivian R. Kelley (Eddie) of Lima. She is also survived by sisters, brothers, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
